Join Best Tours & Travel as we escape to the charming town of Solvang. We will be departing at 6:30 a.m. Our journey begins by way of Highway 41 with a rest stop in Kettleman City, where you can grab a coffee or a quick snack as we head to our destination. We will make our way through the beautiful scenery and views of some of California’s beautiful wine country to reach Solvang, at around 11:00 a.m.

Known as “The Danish Capital of America,” Solvang is widely known for its Danish culture. Our excursion to Solvang Danish Days serves as the perfect warmup to the European festival season.  Here you’ll enjoy three parades, Danish folk dancers and musicians performing around town, plus other feature events like the Aebleskiver Breakfasts, Viking Encampment, the Viking Beer & Wine Garden, free Saturday evening rock concert line-up, and much more!

Throughout the day, you’ll find games and activities to experience, such as axe throwing, an artisan marketplace, and a live history festival with craftspeople, storytellers, and interactivities for people of all ages. Plus, sit and enjoy tales from Denmark’s favorite author, Hans Christian Anderson.

At the end of the day, we’ll return home with a rest stop enroute, arriving in the late evening.
