Stroll through perfectly manicured gardens bursting with fall color and take a docent-led tour of the grand mansion — a living window into history.

But the magic doesn’t stop there. Scattered across Filoli’s natural lands you’ll discover the world-famous exhibit “TROLLS: Save the Humans” by Danish artist Thomas Dambo. These six giant folklore-inspired Troll sculptures, built entirely from reclaimed materials, inspire awe while sharing a message of sustainability, stewardship, and the beauty of reconnecting with nature. Both whimsical and thought-provoking, this exhibit makes for an unforgettable experience for all ages.

After a morning of history, art, and nature, we’ll head to the vibrant Santana Row. Here you’ll have free time to enjoy boutique shopping, world-class dining, and people-watching in a lively European-style setting before we return home.

Itinerary:

• 6:30 a.m. – Depart Clovis (with additional pickups in Madera & Merced). Rest stop enroute.
• 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Arrive at Filoli Gardens for self-guided exploration of the historic mansion, gardens, and Trolls exhibit.
• 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Free time at Santana Row for dining, shopping, and relaxing.
