The wait is finally over! Journey with us to the brand new Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the largest institution in the U.S. devoted to exploring the art and science of movies and movie-making. With 50,000 square feet of gallery space filled with highly immersive exhibitions, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures is a must-visit destination for anyone with a love of film. Explore the core exhibit, Stories of Cinema, and wander through the history of film through archival costumes, objects, and film encompassing three floors of galleries. You’ll also have access to temporary exhibitions of Backdrop: An Invisible Art, The Path to Cinema: Highlights from the Richard Balzer Collection, and more. Don’t forget to stop by the Dolby Family Terrace with its amazing view of Los Angeles. Lunch will be on your own in the museum’s cafe or at another nearby eatery.
